At a Christmas program in northern Wisconsin, Hank Fellows spoke to the children about songwriting, creativity, and 9/11/01, and performed his songs for them. Hank's song "The Spirit of America" was the opening song of their Christmas concert, Dec. 2011.
Hank's songs "Halfway to Heaven", "My Coat of Many Colors", and "The Spirit of America" were performed at a ceremony in Arlington, VA dedicating a steel girder from the Twin Towers to the Fire Dept. that first responded to the 9/11 Pentagon attack, August 2010.
A high school chorus performed "One Heart, One Voice" at a Veterans Day ceremony in central Utah, Nov. 2010. Later in the day, Hank spoke to the school classes about patriotism and songwriting, and performed his songs for them.
Hank's songs "The Spirit of America" and "Halfway to Heaven" were performed at the Baltimore Maryland Firefighters Academy during the dedication of a piece of World Trade Center steel at the Academy, July 2011.
The "Jericho Brass" vocal/jazz ensemble performed "The Spirit of America" at a Memorial Day ceremony in Peoria, Illinois, May 2011.
Hank with retired Colonel Jack Jacobs, who was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor for his heroism in the Vietnam War. Hank's song "The Spirit of America" was performed at an Air Force Association event honoring Colonel Jacobs and other military guests, July 2011.
A Choir in upstate New York performed "Halfway to Heaven" for their 10th Anniversary commemoration of the 9/11 attacks, Sept. 2011.
